Stocktaking, or inventory counting, is the process of physically counting and recording all the items in a pharmacy's inventory.
Important: To perform Stock Take in Yezza, you will need to assign each medications to specific locations. Read here: Assign Medication to specific locations
How Stock Taking in Yezza Works
- Admin create Stock Take Assignment
- Share the Stock Take link to your staff
- Staff open the Stock Take link via desktop/mobile
- Staff physically counting items on shelves
- Staff update the actual count in Yezza: either it is Matched or set a New Count
- Stock Take report is created
Step by Step Guide on Stock Take
Steps:
- Go to Clinic Management > Inventory, Services & Packages > Services:
- Click at Stock Take menu
- Click Start Stock Take and assign the activity to yourself or any of your staff.
Note: Only the assigned staff can open the Stock Take link. - Once the assignment is created, share the link to your staff:
- Your staff then can open the link at their own mobile phone / PC:
Desktop version - Assignee can physically counting items on shelves and update the actual count in Yezza:
- Choose Matched if the number is tally.
- Choose New Count to update the actual count.
- Assignee can close the Stock Count sheet at anytime and resume counting later. Assignee is not required to finish counting all pending inventory.
- Click Finish Counting once you are finished.
- Stock take report will be generated. This report will show the stock differences and values. Example:
