In this article, we’ll show you you can easily send a message to your vendor when requesting a quotation for medications.
What is a Quotation Request?
After deciding which medications you want to purchase, your clinic will need to submit a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to the vendor.
An RFQ is a formal message that lets the vendor know what items you plan to buy, and it allows them to share their prices back with you.

In Yezza, we will auto-generate the RFQ document that looks like this:
Step-by-Step:
- At your Yezza dashboard, go to Purchase Hub menu:
- Select the medications from Order Soon / Out Of Stock / Custom List. (See here to learn more).
- Click Quotation button

- Enter your vendor’s details and specify the quantity for each medicine you wish to order.

- Once you're done, click Create and send quotation. At this stage, you can choose different actions:
- Copy text: Copy the text & send the message manually to any of your contacts
- Download PDF: Download the RFQ document
- Send WhatsApp: Send the message directly to your vendor via WhatsApp Web.

- You're done! Next, just wait for your vendor's reply with the quotation details.
